TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Auto Assembly 2010 Releases Single Day Passes.
Following on from the news we reported this morning Auto Assembly have sent out the following press release regarding single day passes
Auto Assembly 2010 Releases Single Day Passes
After countless requests from people wanting to register for Auto Assembly 2010, we have finally released our limited allocation of single day passes for Auto Assembly 2010! Following the success of Auto AssÂembly 2009 where we set a new European attendance record for a Transformers convention of 501, bookings have been coming in at an astonishing rate for 2010. By 14th March 2010 we were already up to 182 - up from 116 at the same point last year so we are on target to not only shatter this record again but we are quite possibly looking at the convention being a total sell-out!
We are now releasing a limited number of single day tickets for the Saturday and Sunday to enable those of you who can\'t join us for the full weekend to be able to experience Auto Assembly 2010. We are releasing just 75 tickets for each day and once these have been sold, there will be no more released!
Single day attendees will have the same access to the convention that full weekend attendees do - all the guest panels, dealers, workshops, autograph sessions, activities, and will still get the free goodie bags so you will be able to experience everything that Auto Assembly 2010 has to offer. The only things that you won\'t have access to is the Friday evening programme, the Saturday night party (which will have the performance by Next Of Kin, the script reading, our cosplay show and more) and there is a possibility that weekend attendees may gain early access to the convention each day.
Details of the programme, and what activities and panels will be taking place on each day can be found on the Auto Assembly website so you can choose what day is best for you. All of our guests are joining us for the full weekend and will be signing all weekend, but will only be on stage for a panel discussion ONCE so if you want to see all the Q&A sessions, then you need to attend for the full weekend!
Because of the venue size, we are restricted to a MAXIMUM of 550 people at the convention per day which can be made up of a combination of weekend and one-day attendees and once we hit that total we will be closing registrations so if you want to attend Europe\'s largest Transformers convention, hurry and get your tickets now!
We have frozen the prices on these from Auto Assembly 2009 and the one day tickets for either day cost for adults, for children, students or senior citizens and under 5\'s as always are free. However as they are limited, if you want to come along for just the day then you need to book NOW! Because of the rate that bookings are coming in, and the popularity of the one-day passes last year, we cannot guarantee that single day tickets will be available to purchase on the door.
Full weekend tickets are also on sale through the website for for adults and for children, students and senior citizens, with under 5s admitted free. Family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) are available for .
The convention is celebrating 10 years of Auto Assembly events and will be taking place between Friday 13th - Sunday 15th August 2010 at the The Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre, Birmingham, England. There will be AT LEAST eleven guests including three guests of honour (Garry Chalk and Derrick J Wyatt are already confirmed), a massive Saturday evening programme with a party, live band, costume competition and more, toy and art displays, dealers, comic guests, free autograph sessions, a video games area, free workshops, dedicated childrens programming, video screenings and so much more to be announced!
For more details on the convention, to see a full list of all the guests and activities taking place over the weekend, or to book your tickets, visit the website at www.autoassembly.org.uk
We hope to see you all in August 2010.
