TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Beast Wars Original Placeholder Names .
The ÂÂAllspark.com board member RCX was looking over the special features on Shout! Factory\'s release of the Season 1 set of Beast Wars when he came across a rather interesting find, mock-up boxes containing the original names for the Beast Wars characters. Here is a list of the final characters and the names they originally had on the boxes
Rhinox -> Ironhide
Megatron -> Galvatron
Polar Claw -> Red Alert
Rattrap -> Mirage
Scorponok -> Bonecrusher
Insecticon -> Scourge
Iguanus -> Smokescreen
Buzzsaw -> Bumblebee
Armordillo -> Demolisher
Razorbeast -> Scavenger
