TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Is the KO Fort Max back on.

A member of Seibertron.com has found an auction on TaoBao for an upcoming Knock Off Fortress Maximus.  We know that KO Toys scrapped their plans due to costs.

An interesting auction has surfaced on TaoBao that hints at a possible third-party version of Fortress Maximus, or perhaps the rumored KO. The auction is labeled G-02 Titan and as you can see the silhouetted image mirrored below (which is actually based on an official image) is almost certainly supposed to be Fort Max. 

Earth version of the giant Ford G-02 Titan (Titans) scheduled

G1 Japanese version uses giant Ford mold making, material color and size reduction ratio of 100% realistic
No official stamp, in addition to a large sword that contains all the accessories other than the new sticker

Transformers Trilogy Blu-ray

Amazon.fr has listed a pre-order for an Exclusive Collector\'s Edition Transformers Trilogy Blu-ray set. This exclusive set comes in an incredibly cool Autobot symbol case that transforms to unleash all three Transformers Live Action Movies. Price on Amazon.fr is EUR 67.19 (approximately $97.00 USD) and will be released on the 2nd of November 2011.

UK Transformers Prime timeslot to be 6pm

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called UK Transformers Prime timeslot to be 6pm.

The EPG as well as various TV listing sites here within the UK have are now showing listings for next week which have confirmed that Transformers Prime will debut at 6pm on the 5th September here within the UK.  The date was previously known but the timeslot had been speculated.  With TV spots in place and a tea-time slot could Transformers Prime be the Transformers show that will receive a decent push on UK television, or will it be bumped back in a few weeks to a graveyard slot?  Time will tell, but with the toys getting closer to a release hopefully the property will be handled better than previous shows.

Simon Plumbe has updated the Auto Assembly website with the announce of what has tentatively been dubbed as the \"W.A.G Pass\".  This pass allows you to get a discounted ticket for your significant other into Auto Assembly 2012.

\"What we are going to be adding shortly is a cut-down pass intended for partners. This will still give you full access to the convention including all parts of the programme for the weekend, but it will not get you one of the Auto Assembly 2012 goodie bags or entry into any of our pre-convention prize draws. As reported a few days ago Unicron appeared for in-stock on Amazon.com.  Full Metal Hero then pointed out that Amazon would ship the item to the UK.  The latest update is that the status is updated to out of stock.

Auto Assembly 2012 Venue Concerns

The Auto Assembly website is currently being transformed but as apart of the changes Simon Plumbe has published a guide to Hilton Birmingham Metropole which he says should answer most of the concerns that people have raised thus far.  Here is a copy of the post he made

Our thanks go to Matt Marshall for pointing us to DeviantArt where he has uploaded a fanzine that was available at Auto Assembly called \"The \'Best\' of Transformers Comic-Magazin\" which showcases some previously ignored German Generation One comic stories.  Here\'s Matt\'s description.  \"The \'Best\' of Transformers Comic-Magazin\'. This showcases translated G1 stories from a German Transformers comic which was published from the later 80s to the early 90s. These are all official Transformers stories in their own strange G1 continuity, but have remained forgotten until now.

I\'m sure people will be interested in this, it\'s a whole original sub-continuity of G1 from the 80s which has gone unremarked upon until now. Who knows what else might be out there?\"

Jim Sorenson­ has updated his blog, Disciples of Boltax, with a new entry entitled \"The Ark Addendum - Boeing 757 and The AllSpark Almanac returns\".  Here is Jim\'s description of the entry:

\"Today\'s Addendum, and theme I\'ll explore for the next couple of weeks, is the Airplane models from the third episode of Masterforce, Kidnapping!? Million Publishing Transformers Generations 2011 Vol. 2 Manga Translated

The Allspark members NightViper, lonegamer8, Might Gaine and Powered Convoy have scanned and translated the manga (comic) that came with the recently released Transformers Generations 2011 Volume 2 book by Million Publishing.  The story features TakaraTomy\'s Transformers United figures and focuses around the Generations Book exclusive figure Stepper with Nebulon figure.  The comic outline was written by Simon Furman and drawn by Guido Guidi who also helped out with the translation.

FantoFan.jp have updated their website with some new images of upcoming TakaraTomy Transformers: Darkside Moon toys. The images include DA3-4 Leadfoot, DA-28 Striker Optimus Prime, DA-31 Autobot Que, DD-09 Soundwave and Mr.Cruel, DD-13 Soundwave, and CV-26 Soundwave.

The images are in a very low resolutions but can be foudn on their early bird page.

The Transformers Collectors Club have tweeted out the following announcement

Transformers Prime to debut in the UK on Cartoon Network

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Transformers Prime to debut in the UK on Cartoon Network.

An advert is running on Cartoon Network here in the UK advertising the debut of Transformers Prime next month.  Transformers Prime currently airs within the US, where the first 20 episodes have been shown, and in Canada where the first 23 episodes have aired.

Auto Assembly Europe dates location and first guest announced

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Auto Assembly Europe dates location and first guest announced.

Auto Assembly Europe have announced the date and location of the 2011 convention on the official Auto Assembly Europe website, www.autoassemblyeurope.eu. The convention, which  was formerly known as Nordcon before the group merged under the Auto Assembly banner, will takeg place at the Clarion Hotel Gillet in Uppsala, Sweden, on November 12th and 13th 2011.  The first guest announced for the event is the legendary Transformers comic writer Simon Furman.

New 3rd Party Upgrade Kit for Generations Blurr announced

A new 3rd-party Transformers add-on company has recently popped up called SideFX who have announced, via Twitter, that they will be releasing an upgrade kit for the Transformers Generayion Blurr figure.  The add-on kit will come with a new head, gun, sword, and shield. The have posted an preview image which you can view below and plan to release additional upgrade kits for other toys in the future.

Hong Kong magazine MILK comes with cardboard trailer

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Hong Kong magazine MILK comes with cardboard trailer.

The Allspark.com are reporting that the current months issue of Hong Kong lifestyle magazine MILK comes with a cardboard trailer that fits the Transformers Dark of the Moon deluxe Optimus Prime.  As well as reporting the news they have also published a high-resolution scan of the page so they you can print the page out on card and then make up a trailer yourself.

TFCToys post new images of their upcoming 3rd party figures

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called TFCToys post new images of their upcoming 3rd party figures.

Leading 3rd Party non-official Transformers maker ­TFC Toys (AKA Transformers Club out of China) have ­revealed several new images of their upcoming figures including the next part of their Hercules (Devastator) combiner team.  The figure they have shown off is called Neck Breaker and is their version of B­onecrusher.  The group have also posted mock-up image of what Hercules will look like when he is fully combined.  The image is a combination of grey-resin prototypes and a CGI outline of the yet-to-be-produced figures.

As well as showing of their Devastator toy, TFC have also posted new images of the DSLR camera team (Reflector), as well as Junkion Blacksmith Headmasters and Infinity Warfare 2.  The images have been mirrored below but were originally posted on their weibo page.­

Beast Wars II Boxset artwork and design revealed

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Beast Wars II Boxset artwork and design revealed.

Following on from the recent announcement of the Japanese release of Beast Wars II, the box art has now been released, and can be viewed below.  Beast Wars II was a Japanese exclusive series that was produced to fill the gap between Japanese dubs of Beast Wars and led on to the follow-up series Beast Wars Neo.  There has been no official word on whether Beast Wars Neo will be released on DVD though, personally, we are expecting that announcement shortly after the release of Beast Wars II.  It is also our prediction that the series will be subbed into English and released via Shout Factory in either late 2012 or during 2013.  Again there is no official confirmation of this yet, it is purely a prediction by Transformers At The Moon.

August Japanese Magazine Scans

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called August Japanese Magazine Scans.

We have started on our next batch of Japanese magazine scans, this time the focus will be on TV Boy.  Before we get onto that though we thought we\'d upload two of the recent Japanese hobby magazines, August 2011 issue of Dengeki Hobby and August 2011 TV Magazine.

There are 50 pages scanned from the Dengeki Hobby managzine and 13 from TV Magazine.

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Black DOTM Optimus Prime a Milk Magazine exclusive.

Hong Kong fashion magazine Milk have announced that to celebrate their 10th anniversary they are teaming up with Hasbro to release two exclusive Transformers Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime repaints.  The toys will be a black deluxe figure as well as an hand-painted \"premium\" release, basically they will be painting no additional details.  No details on how to obtain the toys have been released at this time.

I thought I would bring you another quick update on the current gross of the third live action Transformers movie, Transformers: Dark of the Moon.  As of the 16th August 2011 the film had grossed $1,082,052,314 (source: BoxOfficeMojo) making it the 5th highest grossing film of all time behind Avatar, Titanic, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 and Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.  The film needs to gross another $40 million in order to take the 4th spot which is unlikely to happen but is not impossible..

Sad News - John Stephenson G1 Voice Actor Passes Away

To no surprise he was voiced by John Stephenson (very similar to Windcharger\'s tones) and I was saddened to learn from wikipedia that he passed away just 10 days ago. John voiced many G1 characters including: Alpha Trion Bosch Devcon Hector Ramirez Huffer Kup Professor Haley Thundercracker Windcharger Of all the voice actors who participated in all four seasons of the G1 cartoon, John Stephenson was the only one who did not lend his voice to The Transformers: The Movie. I particularly enjoyed his Windcharger, Kup, Thundercracker and Devcon voices.. Thanks John\"

Ark Addendum Update - Yukikaze\'s Transformation Sequence

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Ark Addendum Update - Yukikaze\'s Transformation Sequence.

Jim Sorenson has updated his blog, Disciples of Boltax, with the transformation sequence for the trainbot Yukikaze.  Previous Jim has posted the transformation sequences for four other members of the Trainbots, Shouki, Getsui, Seizan and Suiken but he is missing the sequence for Kaen and the gestault form Raiden. We will check through our own character / model sheets to see if we have the missing pages but in the meantime here is Jim\'s thoughts on the character.

BTW, Yukikaze translates roughly to \"Snow Breeze.\"  It\'s a fairly common name in Anime and Manga, especially for cold-based characters.  The name itself would be reused in Beast Wars II as the space ship (non-sentient) for the Maximals.

Lack of updates

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Lack of updates.

I thought I would take a moment to explain about the lack of updates to the website.  For the last month I have been extremely busy with my job which has had a massive impact on the time I spend maintaining my websites.  This was then followed by Auto Assembly, for which I was on the committee, and led to the lack of updates to the website since Thursday.  Since being back from AA, which has only been a day, I\'ve been busy putting things back that I had to get out or move around in order to take to the event.  Do not worry though, I will be getting back to the site and updating both the news and resource sections very shortly.  I do apologise for the lack of updates this year which has primarily been caused by the change in responsibilities at my work, but I will strive to find more of a balance and so you should start to see the results very soon.

Auto Assembly 2011 round-up and thank you

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Auto Assembly 2011 round-up and thank you.

First of all I would like to say thank you to everyone who attended Auto Assembly in one capacity or another.  Everyone worked their butts off from the committee, the volunteers, the dealers and their helpers to try to make the show as smooth as possible despite the problems that were faced.  The guests were once again warm and welcoming and once again went out of their way to entertain everyone.  Finally everyone who attended the convention needs to be thanked.  There were a lot of first-timers this year and the general consensus was overwhelmingly positive.

During Auto Assembly it was announced that David Kaye is voicing a role in Transformers Prime, but it was also hinted, during his promo video, that David Sobolov, voice of Beast Wars Depth Charge, may also have a role in the current Transformers show.

Auto Assembly officially starts today

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called Auto Assembly officially starts today.

Are you in the UK? Are you attending Auto Assembly 2011?  That\'s right, Auto Assembly 2011 kicks officially kicks off today in Birmingham and if you haven\'t already purchased your ticket(s) to the event do not worry, you can buy them on the door tomorrow.

With over a dozen guests ranging from voice actors to cartoon episode writers, comics writers and comic artist there will be someone there for you.  The event will also have plenty of dealers so you can pick up some Transformers figures form which ever line(s) interest you and hang out with fellow fans of the Transformers line.

If you do attend, don\'t forget to drop by the toy display where Transformers At The Moon will be running a display this year based around the Japanese Beast Wars figures.

We\'ve waited for over 10 years for this news, but finally Beast Wars II will be getting a release on DVD.

Rakuten has posted an interesting new listing, Transformers Beast Wars II DVD Boxset containing all 43 episodes and is scheduled to release on October 20th for 29,400 yen.

If you want to see the characters from Beast Wars II then head to Auto Assembly, starting tomorrow, as the toy display theme for this year in Japanese Beast Wars!

Hi everyone,

Naturally, we know that many of you are still concerned about events in Birmingham but we wanted to reassure you about what is happening and keep you up to date about what we are doing to ensure the convention continues as smoothly as possible.

First, some of you may have heard that coaches to Birmingham have been cancelled. As far as we have heard, Digbeth Coach Station has been temporarily closed but coaches are being diverted to Edgbaston which is approximately 1 miles outside of the city centre so this will just be a short taxi ride to the convention hotel. As there are still a few days to the convention, we believe that there is still time for the station to re-open.

Secondly, while there were still incidents last night, they were significantly reduced following the increased police presence in the city centre. Last night over 500 police officers were in the centre and did a fantastic job containing the violence and disruptions and keeping this to a minimum.

For those of you coming to the convention this weekend, don\'t forget that we have an active Event Page on Facebook that you can join:- http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=141185125921522 . We are leaving to head off to the convention at noon today but we will still be posting updates throughout the day on Facebook and leading right up to the convention and other attendees will post details of travel share plans and general discussions of incidents that they may find out in relation to the convention. To allay any concerns that you may have regarding part of the content of the convention this year, both David Kaye and David Wise are already in the UK and Gregg Berger is leaving the US today to arrive tomorrow morning so all our guests of honour will be in the UK by tomorrow morning!

Just remember guys... \"Nothing\'s going to stand in our way!\". We\'re very close to setting a NEW European attendance record and with YOUR help, we are determined to make this the BEST convention we have ever held!

People are already looking at making car share or travel share plans, arrangements to travel to hotels together or in groups for those not staying in the convention hotel so we are making every effort to cover ever eventuality this year.

Hi everyone,

In light of the recent, saddening news coming from various cities around the UK, the Auto Assembly Committee has been flooded with questions, as you might imagine. Our response has been purposefully delayed and carefully considered - we are sure you will understand that we are faced with a unique situation and we wanted to take the opportunity to consider every possible eventuality.

To anybody who doesn’t know, there have been reports of isolated pockets of civil unrest in Birmingham. West Midlands Police have confirmed they will have a very large Police presence on the streets tonight to ensure that they continue to calm the situation. Like everybody in the UK right now, we are thankful for the great job that the Officers are doing at present in such difficult circumstances.

Nevertheless, we are pleased to announce that as things stand, Auto Assembly 2011 will go ahead as planned... and friends...it is going to rock! As the song goes, “Nothing’s gonna stand in our way, not tonight!”

Now, we are keeping a constant eye on the news and on official Police press releases so, if this situation changes we promise we will make an announcement the second we find out. But rest assured, we have no intentions whatsoever of cancelling Europe’s biggest and best Transformers convention unless we are presented with absolutely no alternative. The show, as they say, must go on!

However - it is of the utmost importance that all our convention goers please bear a few things in mind to ensure that we all have a fantastic and most importantly, a safe convention this weekend.

1. Auto Assembly 2011 is still ON
2. Allow extra travelling time to and from the convention
3. Don\'t go out of the hotel alone. Try to stay in groups for safety.
4. Don\'t go out of the hotel after dark on your own
5. Keep valuables safe at all times
6. Be vigilant
7. Please look out for each other and be safe.

As we say, if for any reason the situation changes we will inform you as soon as we can, but at present Auto Assembly 2011 is ON!!!! We just need to take extra care in looking after each other this year Transformers fans.

Finally, remember that for those of you arriving in Birmingham one or two days early, you can pick up your passes on Thursday afternoon between 2:00 and 4:00 pm which will make your admission to the convention Much easier. Trish and Simon will be in the hotel bar on the second floor to do this but you must contact us in advance to let us know.

Anyway, we\'re looking forward to seeing you all in a few days.

JustiToys to make large scale Predacon inspired third party product

TransformerToys.co.uk has been updated with a new news story called JustiToys to make large scale Predacon inspired third party product.

During TFCon it was announced that, third party toy maker, TFC would be making a large scale Predacon set, well it turns out that this information was incorrect.  JustIToys have posted an image and two comments on their Facebook page that confirm that the image that was shown is actually of a JustIToys project and not a TFC project.  JustIToys, pronounced \"Just Love Toys\", are best known for making the non-official Words Smallest Transformers figures.  This set, however, has been confirmed as being a large scale set.  Here\'s what they had to say:

\"tfcon made a mistake, it is our project, not TFC project, they messed up.\" and \"Large scale, it\'s a combiner, but we don\'t want to use the names..\"

Francesco Quinn passes away

Francesco Quinn, who voiced Dino in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, passed away yesterday from a heart attack whilst playing in the street in the La Costa neighborhood of Malibu, with his two sons.  He was best known for his role in Platoon.
